Snoring

Snoring

Snoring is defined as a noise produced primarily with inspiration during sleep, caused by vibration of the soft palate and the pillars. Snoring implies incomplete obstruction of the upper airway.
Individuals with loud snoring should be evaluated for obstructive sleep apnea as about 30% of loud snorers also suffer from obstructive sleep apnea.

For individuals with snoring alone, we offer in-office procedures aimed at reducing snoring. These procedures are performed utilizing Somnoplasty radio frequency technology. The procedures are usually 30 minutes in duration and cause minimal discomfort.
